Anju’s current works are immersed in the multi-dimensional, multicultural nature of colour. Colour is physical, intellectual, emotional and intimate; it can be whatever you want or need it to be. It spans cultures and civilizations and blurs the physical boundaries of the world. These works explore the intimacy of colours, the binary relationship between light and dark, the lack of boundaries and how they blend together yet stand alone.

Interpreting these pieces challenges the viewer to create a strictly unique experience, invoking the ability to generate something new from each interaction. You are challenged to defy the social conventions surrounding intimacy and passion and within this arena you are free to rediscover these raw emotions.
